Temple Micah Sustaining Contribution Commitment

We do not have a set amount for annual sustaining contribution commitment. Rather, we operate on a “Fair Share” basis. Each member determines their amount, based on household income and ability to pay. The recommended contribution is 2% of the household’s gross income. No one will be turned away for financial reasons.

We use the honor system. No financial information is requested. However, we do ask that you look at your resources and make a meaningful and significant contribution. By making the largest commitment you can, you will provide the support that our congregation needs to thrive. Our Executive Director and Board of Trustees review all applications, and will be in contact with you if there are any questions or they would like to discuss your dues pledge amount further.

Sustaining contribution amounts are set for a one-year period based upon our fiscal year, July 1st through June 30th, and are prorated to date of joining. Contributions are generally increased annually. Sustaining contributions are payable in advance and may be paid annually, semi-annually, quarterly, or monthly. A statement is sent monthly to the email address provided for any balance due.

TEMPLE MICAH Pledge Information

Your pledge, or annual dues, are your sustaining contribution that keeps Temple Micah operating.

From the Temple Micah Bylaws

Article V, Section 6 - Membership:  Dues and Fees

Members shall pay such annual dues, assessments, and other fees as shall be determined by the Board of Trustees.  Membership dues are payable in advance.  This constitutes a member in good standing.  A member who fails to pay any financial obligation due the congregation within (90) days after such obligation became due and payable shall not be considered to be in good standing.  A member who fails to pay any financial obligation due the congregation within six months after such obligation became due and payable may be suspended and deprived of all membership rights and privileges upon vote of the Board of Trustees, after the member shall have been notified by mail of the impending suspension.  The Board of Trustees may waive, extend, or modify any financial obligation due from the member.

Your Pledge

Dues are pledged on a fiscal year basis July 1 through June 30.  If you are joining in mid-fiscal year, please pro-rate this year's pledge as you feel appropriate, and also indicate your yearly pledge.

Our family will pay the following amount as pro-rated dues for the remainder of the current fiscal year, July 1 through June 30:
